The Bradwell Lady Tiger softball team took a 10-6 win over McIntosh County Academy Tuesday afternoon. The game was played at MCA in Darien.

MCA got a quick 4-1 lead in the first inning and held a 6-5 lead over the Lady Tigers. In the top of the fifth inning the Bradwell girls tied the game at 6 and then took the lead with three more runs scored.

The Lady Tigers shut out MCA the remainder of the game and added a final run in the sixth inning for the win.

According to stats posted by Lady Tiger coach Misty Eastlake online, Kaela Gibbs was the starting pitcher. She allowed one hit in two-thirds of the first inning. Josephine Satele was the winning pitcher for the Lady Tigers.

She had ten strikeouts and gave up two runs on five hits in six innings.

Sara Hause was 3-of-4 and had 3 RBIs. Satele was 2-of-2. The Lady Tigers tallied 12 hits in the game.

The Tigers are set to play today at 6:30 p.m. at Long County, weather permitting.
