Lady Tigers continue hot start to season

Jeremiah Mayner had 18 points and Nook Pridgeon scored 12 as the Tattnall County Warriors downed the Bradwell Institute Tigers 49-44 in non-region action Saturday.

Tahshaun Frasier had 16 points in the loss.

The loss dropped the Tigers to 3-2.

The Lady Tigers dominated the Lady Warriors, rolling to a 6-1 start with a 59-28 win.

Parris Parham had a team-high 17 points, Taniyah Bowman added 14 and Bailey Gilmore notched a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Longtime rival Glynn Academy was no match for the Bradwell Institute Lady Tigers on Tuesday night.

Parham poured in 20 points, and the Lady Tigers rolled to a 5-1 start with a 57-28 rout.

Bowman added 14 points, and Ja’Nya Bush scored 11 points and pulled down nine rebounds.

Gilmore scored eight and Ta’Tyana Anderson chipped in four points.

Ten Lady Tigers logged minutes in the blowout.

Bradwell opened a 29--10 lead at the half and coasted from there.

The Terrors boys opened the game on an 18-4 run and posted a 7144 win over the Tigers.

Frasier led Bradwell with 14 points.

Bradwell visits Ware on Wednesday in the Region 3-AAAAA opener before traveling to Douglas on Friday to face Coffee and returning home Saturday to play Liberty.
