Lady Tigers defeat Tattnall

Bradwell Institute girls basketball coach Faye Baker has led her varsity team to a 4-3 season to date. Their most recent win was this past Saturday where the Lady Tigers beat Tattnall County 51-44. The games was played at Liberty County High School as the Tigers’ gym remains under construction.

To date the Lady Tigers beat Liberty County High School on Nov. 17, (70-36), lost at Beach High on Nov. 19, (62-52), lost against Woodville-Tompkins on Nov. 20, (52-39), beat Heritage High on Nov. 21, (55-47), lost to Statesboro (44-43) on Nov. 27 and beat Coffee on Nov. 30, (49-37).

They followed up the win at Coffee with the take down of Tattnall High.

Lady Tiger Jasmine Blevins is averaging 14.7 points per game. Jada Brooks is averaging 14.2. Ky’Leo Worriels leads the team on rebounds with 33. Esperanza Castro has 31, Jessey Dosier has 30, Brooks has 29 and Rayona Shuman has 28 rebounds.

The Lady Tigers will play Brunswick at 7 p.m. Friday. The game will be at the Liberty County High School gym.
