Lady Tigers fall in region game

It was a tough day for the Lady Tigers as they hosted South Effingham Thursday for a Region 3-AAAAA softball contest.
The Lady Mustangs piled up four runs in the first inning against the Bradwell girls and quickly added up a 10-0 win.
According to maxpreps.com, the South Effingham team managed 11 hits against Lady Tiger pitcher Mackenzie Stewart. In return, the South Effingham team pitched a no-hitter.
The Lady Mustangs are the 12th ranked team in the state and have a 20-5 overall and 5-1 region mark. The Lady Tigers are 3-17 overall and 0-6 in the region.
The Lady Tigers will play at Long County Monday at 5 p.m.
