LCHS Panther soccer already in full swing

The Liberty County Panther soccer teams have kicked the season into full gear as the boys report a record of 2-0-1 to date.

The boys earned a tie score of 1-1 in a scrimmage against Vidalia on Feb. 7 at home on Freedom Field.

On Tuesday, the boys edged out a 2-point win (3-1) against Brunswick at home. On Thurs-day, the squad hit the road to Brantley County where they won 6-0.

The Panther girls, currently 2-0-1, earned their second victory with a 3-1 win at Brantley County. According to Lady Panther coach Jarvis McArthurs, Mystery Ellert led the offense, scoring all three goals.

The soccer squads were set to travel to Fitzgerald yesterday. The Courier will bring you the scores as they are made available.
