The Liberty County High School Lady Panther soccer team took another win Saturday, beating Fitzgerald 3-1.

Senior Lady Panther Elyssa Lemapu scored all three goals.

The Lady Panthers were at a Richmond Hill Wildcats Classic Tournament where they faced Wayne County on Monday. They suffered a disappointing 1-3 loss to the Lady Yellow Jackets.

Coach Jarvis McArthur said Lemapu scored the only goal against Wayne.

"We led 1-0 at halftime," McArthur said. "But Wayne County made some good adjustments in the second half and we did not counter their strategy."

The Lady Panthers took on Savannah Arts Academy Tuesday afternoon and were handed their second loss of the season being shut out 0-2.

Currently they are 3-2-1.

The Panther boys also took a victory against Fitzgerald on Saturday, winning 6-1. Scores for the boys team at the Wildcats Classic were not available.
