Oct. 13
In Mite League (10-year-olds) action, the Colts got a strong performance from De’Ontae Grant while beating the Cardinals 32-18. Grant rushed for 185 yards and three touchdowns, while teammate Paul Brown tallied 57 yards and two TDs.
Offensively for the Cardinals, Tre’Shaun Peggins scored on a 55-yard run and totaled 95 yards rushing. Austin Klink added 39 yards rushing and two TDs for the Cardinals. The Colts improved to 2-1, while the Cardinals fell to 0-3.
The Broncos remained undefeated with their third victory, a 24-7 win over the Rams. Jayden Jones scored three TDs and rushed for 143 yards, while James Sommersett added 119 yards rushing and a TD. Markell Shelton returned an interception 50 yards for the Rams lone TD and added 31 yards rushing. The Rams fell to 1-2.

Oct. 14
The Midget League (11-12 year-olds) Falcons continued winning with a 22-6 win over the Redskins. Coach Rey Torres had two players rush for more than 100 yards, Dashawn Edwards-Ross with 132 yards and two TDs and Jovani Blas with 102 yards and a TD. Blas also kicked a PAT for the Falcons who improve their record to 2-0. The Redskins were led by Nathan Dantzler with 75 yards rushing and a TD. The loss drops Coach Ed Clark’s squad to 0-1 for the season.
In other Midget League action, Coach Will Robert’s Raiders got a strong performance from Christopher Dennis, who rushed for
144 yards, had two rushing TDs, and returned a kickoff 65 yards for a TD. Jaleel Andrew added 64 yards rushing and scored two rushing PATs for the Raiders. Coach Frank Troup’s Chargers only trailed by a point at halftime but saw things slip away as the Raiders scored 13 unanswered points in the second half. Tre’Von Jackson led the Chargers offense with
103 yards rushing, including a 45-yard TD run. The Raiders’ record now stands at 1-0 and the Chargers fall to 1-1 on the season.

Oct. 15
The Flea League (8-year-olds) Saints remained undefeated with a 21-13 win over the Patriots. Jabarri Neal was a one-man wrecking crew for coach Jeremy Craig’s Saints, rushing for 202 yards and three TDs. Neal also completed a pass to Shyne Letman for one PAT and rushed for another one. Ryan Golden had an interception for the Saints. Coach Daniel Clark’s Patriots were led by Jaden Hurd, who rushed for 77 yards and one TD. Jeremiah Carter also scored a TD for the Patriots on a 24-yard run and Tyrone Robinson rushed for a two-point conversion. The Saints record now stands at 3-0 and the Patriots fall to 1-2.
In other Flea League action, the Vikings got two TDs and 70 yards rushing from Tank Washington to defeat the Cowboys by a score of 20-6. The Vikings also got
132 yards rushing and one TD from R.J. Washington and a PAT from Pryce Sparrow. Myles Anglin scored a TD, and Kashawn Ferris rushed for 77 yards to lead the Cowboys offensively. With the win, coach Anthony Winborn’s Vikings improve their record to 2-1, and coach Jason Lee’s Cowboys fall to 0-3.

Oct. 17
One-point victories were the order of the day in Pee Wee League (9-year-olds) action as the Jets edged the Seahawks 19-18 and the 49ers defeated the Jaguars by a score of 13-12. Keyaundre Nelson was a workhorse for the Jets, rushing 10 times for 107 yards. Malik Love added 53 yards rushing, and one TD and Michael Woods also scored a TD for the Jets. Jamal Leonard rushed for 114 yards and three TDs to lead the Seahawks offensively. The Jets improved their record to 1-2 and the Seahawks fall to 0-2-1.
