LCRD taekwondo team earns 3 medals

Competitors now preparing for national qualifier, Junior Olympics

The Liberty County Recreation Department’s sport taekwondo team recently added three gold medals to an already-impressive collection.

Two martial arts competitors representing the LCRD team competed in the Georgia Games Taekwondo Championship on April 12 in Smyrna. Omiad Diante Law brought home two gold medals for sparring and forms. Kiara Alana Leah Edwards brought home a gold medal for sparring.
