Legacy Elite does well at USBA hoops tournament
Team Legacy Elite
Team Legacy Elite advanced to the semifinals before being eliminated at the USBA hoops youth National Tournament in Charleston, South Carolina, last week. The team, formed in 2015, features a roster of girls from Snelson Golden, Lewis Frasier and Midway middle schools who are hungry to be scouted for collegiate opportunities.

Team Legacy Elite played at the USBA youth National Tournament in Charleston, South Carolina, last week, falling in the semifinals.

Team Legacy Elite was formed in 2015. The girls firstg met and played basketball at the Liberty County Recreation Department.

According to coach Kenneth Bell, the girls on the current roster, from Snelson Golden, Lewis Frasier and Midway middle schools, have been playing together a few years now and have improved dramatically throughout the seasons. Also on the coaching staff are Bernard Green and Jasmine Blevins.

The team plays in numerous tournaments and members hope to be seen and scouted for collegiate opportunities. In 2020, the team won the state tournament. Next season, coach Bell wants the team to travel across the United States for more exposure.
