The Liberty County Panthers are off to a hot start in Region 3-AAA.
The Panthers ran their region mark to 4-0 with a 53-38 win over Beach on Tuesday for their fifth win in a row.
Liberty also downed Wayne County 59-48 in a non-region game Saturday after topping Calvary Day 52-32.
The Liberty County Lady Panthers evened their record in Region 3-AAA with a 48-44 win over Beach on the road Tuesday.
Liberty is now 2-4 on the season.
The Lady Panthers fell 49-39 to Calvary in a region matchup and 40-18 to Wayne County in a non-region tilt.
The Liberty County girls return to action Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Vincent’s Academy in Savannah.
Both Liberty County teams are off after that until a Dec. 28 meeting with Woodville-Tompkins, followed by games the morning of Dec. 29 against Griffin.
