Liberty County honored its senior softball players Tuesday before falling 8-0 in a Region 2-AAA game against Pierce County.
The Lady Panthers then played a double-header in Tattnall County Thursday, losing 10-0 in game one and beating the Lady Warriors 3-1 in game two.
All three games were Region 2-AAA matchups.
Tuesday, Lady Panther Kaleigh Fisher pitched the loss, going all five innings. She walked two and struck out three batters.
The game was done by the first inning when Pierce County drove in all eight runs off a two-run double, four singles and a RBI.
Lady Panthers Madison Winn and Kiara Edwards were both 1 for 2 while Fisher and Meleina Davis were both 1 for 3 at bat.
Before the game, seniors were showered with balloons and gifts as their teammates recognized them.
