Liberty takes first game 10-6 over Bradwell
Game called early due to rain

The first football game of the season is finally in the books as cross-town rivals Liberty County High School and Bradwell Institute took the field Friday night at Olvey Stadium. Heavy rains forced the game to be called off in the third quarter. The Liberty Panthers had the 10-6 lead over the BI Tigers as the game was called. The two teams will meet again this upcoming Friday, this time at Donnell Woods Stadium.
