Three players from Hinesville schools are on bowl- and playoff-bound NCAA football teams.
Ohio State, with freshman linebacker Raekwon McMillan of Liberty County High School, will face Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, a playoff semifinal game, at 8:30 p.m. Jan. 1 in New Orleans.
North Carolina State, led by running back and LCHS alum Shadrach Thornton, will face Central Florida, including former Bradwell Institute lineman Chester Brown, in the Bitcoin St. Petersburg (Florida) Bowl at
8 p.m. Dec. 26.
