Long County’s Jamaal Anderson was named the Region 2-AA boys’ basketball co-player of the year.
Overall, four members of the Long County High School basketball program were been named to all-region teams.
Josh Berry joined Anderson on the boys’ first team.  The Lady Tide’s Mikayla Lovett made the first team, and Derissa Crawford made the second team.  
“I cannot think of anyone more deserving than these two,” Lady Tide head coach Kayla Hires said. “From day one, they knew what it was going to take for us to have a good season and also be willing to put in the work every day (to achieve it).”
The Blue Tide finished with a record of 13-13, and the Lady Tide finished 5-14.
