Bradwell Institute held its final home soccer game for the 2014 season Wednesday afternoon, hosting Ware County.
Between the girls’ and boys’ games, the Tiger coaching staff honored its outgoing senior players by showering them with gifts and flowers.
The Tiger boys beat Ware County, 1-0, in a Region 3-AAAAA contest.
The Lady Tigers fell, 2-1, to Ware County.
Caitlin Coston scored Bradwell’s goal.
“Our seniors played their hearts out,” Lady Tiger coach Scott Akin said. “I was proud of their efforts last night and all season long. I told all of our seniors after the match that they were the foundation for a fantastic future for the Lady Tigers.”
The Tigers are scheduled to play tonight at Richmond Hill.
The girls’ game will start at 5 p.m., with the boys’ game scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
Their final regular-season game is next Friday at Groves High School.
