The Faith Baptist Christian Academy boys basketball team won the South Region Championship last weekend by defeating Grace Christian Academy, 89-82.  On Tuesday, the Crusaders also advanced to the semi-finals of the GCCA state basketball tournament by defeating Old Suwanee Christian 85-43.
The boys, who have a 23-4 record, will face Kings Way Christian School. The team is Brandon Bell, Caleb Bell, Calvin Cobb, J.J. Frazier, Marquisse Chandler, Riley Jarrett, Ryan Southland, Shaliek Ulysse, Shaquille Evans and Trey Adams. The team is coached by Tony Barnett, the manager is Evan Welter and the athletic director is Matt Sellars.
