Bradwell Institute edged Benedictine, 2-1, in a Region 3-AAAAA baseball game Friday in Savannah. Pitcher Jacob Dill got the win, allowing the Cadets only two hits.
Dill also led BI at the plate, going 2 for 3 with an RBI.
Benedictine’s only run came in the seventh inning.
Bradwell improved to 9-4 overall and 8-1 in the region and holds a slim lead over Camden County for the top spot, according to ga.prepcountry.com. The Tigers have a region winning percentage of .889; the Wildcats are at .875.
Bradwell will host Savannah High on Tuesday.
