The No. 22-ranked Georgia Southern Eagles will look to bounce back from defeat when they face The Citadel at 1 p.m. Saturday in Statesboro.
The Eagles (3-2 overall, 1-2 in the Southern Conference) fell to Samford, 44-34, last Saturday in Birmingham, Ala.
Despite the defeat, GSU still leads the nation in rushing yards per game (371.6) as part of its 42.6 points-per-game average, according to gseagles.com.
Defensively, the Eagles are allowing 381.6 yards a game, with 189.2 of that coming on the ground.
The Bulldogs (2-4, 2-2) also boast a strong running game by averaging 283.8 yards on the ground per game.
Meanwhile, the Citadel gives up 381.5 yards a game.
