GSU opens league tourney
Georgia Southern’s men’s and women’s basketball teams will open Southern Conference tournament play today in Asheville, N.C.
The GSU women (9-20) play Wofford at 11 a.m., while the men (13-18) play Furman at 1:30 p.m.
STATESBORO — New head coach Willie Fritz and the Georgia Southern football team open their 2014 spring practice schedule Tuesday, March 25.
The Blue-White Spring game is one of three scrimmages planned, in addition to April 5 and April 17. Dates, times and locations are subject to change and may be impacted by weather conditions. Practices are open to the public, but any filming, recording or photography is limited to members of the media only.
