FBCA to host tryouts for summer hoops league

College/high-school summer-league tryouts will be from 5:30-8 p.m. May 7 at Faith Baptist Christian Academy.
Each high-school participant who makes the league will be placed on teams with a college participant or two. Each team will consist of 8-10 players. This year’s featured college participants include Jordan McRae, who will lead Team Tennessee; Rion Brown, who will lead Team Miami; Jordan Johnson, who will lead Team Ole Miss; J.J Frazier, who will lead Team Georgia; and Jaquez Motley, who will lead Team Texas; and the Faith Baptist Crusader of Team Faith.
Each high-school participant will be drafted to one of the six teams; college-approved participants will be placed by committee.
Registration fee for the league will be $60. Play begins May 13, with the championship scheduled for June 8.
