Former Lady Tiger earns track honor

According to a report on the University of South Carolina Upstate’s athletic website, former Bradwell Institute track athlete KeAndrea Ladson was named Women’s Field Performer of the Week on Wednesday.
The announcement was released following Ladson’s showing at the Appalachian Invitational to open the 2013-14 season.
In her first collegiate meet, Ladson, a freshman, set school indoor records in the 55-meter hurdles and high jump. She was fourth in the 55-meter hurdles after a time of 8.52 seconds and sixth in the high jump with her mark of 1.65 meters. Ladson also placed fourth in the 4x400-meter relay and fifth in the triple jump.
The Spartans are back in action Jan. 17-18 at the Niswonger Invitational.
