FPCA girls soccer has strong season

It was a strong season for the First Presbyterian Christian Academy girls’ soccer program — and it’s not over yet.
The Highlanders JV soccer squad finished the season undefeated, and the varsity team is set to host the first round of the state playoffs Tuesday at 4 p.m. against Lafayette.
The Lady ‘Landers JV squad allowed no goals against it this season and won all six of its games. This feat was accomplished despite the fact that veteran defender Mary Kathryn Whitney missed two games with a knee injury. The girls played Frederica Academy, Bulloch Academy and Robert Toombs twice each this season.
