Last season they made it to the finals and were defeated but this year the First Presbyterian Christian Academy girls would not be denied the state title.

The Lady Landers defeated Monsignor Donovan 3-0 in soccer winning the Georgia Independent School Association Class AA state championship today on St. Simons Island.

The boys were also chasing a state titile. Their game was still in progress at the time of this posting.
