FPCA plays for state title Saturday

First Presbyterian Christian Academy’s girls’ soccer team will play at 5 p.m. Saturday for a state title. The championship game against Gatewood School will be held at Frederica Academy on St. Simons Island.
According to the Georgia Independent School Association’s website, the FPCA girls are No. 1 in the Class AA coaches poll.
The Lady ‘Landers (13-1 overall and 6-0 in Region 4-AA) face Gatewood School (10-3, 7-1) from Eatonton.
Gatewood is ranked No. 3 in the coaches’ poll.
