Future Liberty County Panthers basketball payers Dee Brooks and D’Angelo Streeter were named among the top 50 prospects at the fifth annual Pangos All-South Basketball Camp on Oct. 8-9 in
Brooks, a 6-foot-3 guard, played the past few seasons at Faith Baptist Christian Academy in Ludowici. Streeter, a 5-foot-11 guard, played last year at First Presbyterian Christian Academy. Both have transferred to Liberty County High School, where they plan to join the Panthers’ squad.
According to allmetrosports.com, Brooks placed among the top 50 due to an ability to utilize his athleticism to finish above the rim. He was a solid ball handler with great vision of the court, the website said.
Brooks reportedly rebounded well at the camp and was able to block several opponents’ shots.
Hot100hoops.com said Brooks was an active and quick wing man who has a 17-foot range off the dribble.
Last season at Faith Baptist, Brooks averaged 7.2 points per game and ended the year with 239 points. He had 68 assists, 11 blocks, 58 steals and 174 total rebounds.
Allmetrosports.com described Streeter as a tough physical guard with a good stroke and an aggressive defender. Hot100hoops.com reported Streeter was a quick point guard who can make things happen in open court.
Streeter made his debut at FPCA last season playing limited minutes but was able to tally 39 points for the season. He posted a game-high 15 against rival Bible Baptist last January.
