The First Presbyterian Christian Academy baseball team split its recent games.
On Friday in Savannah, the Highlanders lost, 6-5, to the Matadors in a Region 2-AA contest.
On Monday the boys hosted St. Andrews, earning a 6-1 win in a non-region game.
FPCA coach Ryan Harmon sent five different pitchers to the mound against St. Andrews to test the depth of his rotation.

FPCA’s home game Saturday against Pinewood Christian was postponed due to rain.
The Highlanders are 3-4 overall and 1-3 in the region, according to gisastats.com.
The Highlanders were scheduled to travel to David Emmanuel on Tuesday and will host David Emmanuel at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
“We’re just playing it one game at a time right now,” Harmon said.
