Former Bradwell football player Marsalis Jackson was one of 10 LaGrange Panthers named to the USA South All-Conference football team, as announced by the conference Wednesday and reported on lagrangepanthers.com.
Jackson, a wide receiver for the Panthers, was selected as the Offensive Rookie of the Year.
In his first season of collegiate football, Jackson set school records with 902 receiving yards and 12 touchdown receptions. He had 47 receptions, averaging 19.2 yards per catch. Jackson led the team in scoring and was named the conference’s Offensive Rookie of the Week three times.
The sophomore, the son of Abraham and Tosha Bell, is majoring in exercise science.
