Lady Tigers go 0-2 in Macon

The Bradwell Institute girls’ basketball team had two tough games at the Westside Shootout held during the weekend in Macon.
The Lady Tigers (3-9, 3-0) ended the tournament 0-2 with losses to Northeast Macon, 46-40, on Friday and to Rutland, 47-37, on Saturday.
On Saturday, the Lady Hurricanes held the lead throughout the game, with the Lady Tigers trailing by eight at halftime. The second half was a fight with the teams matching baskets, but the Lady ‘Canes didn’t allow BI to close the gap and extended their lead to 10 in the third quarter.
Both team scored 11 points in the fourth.
Bradwell is 3-9 overall and 3-0 in Region 3B-AAAAA. The Lady Tigers are on break until Jan. 4 when they travel to Richmond Hill for a region game.
