The Cross Creek Razorbacks were no match for Liberty County High School's football team. The Panther boys enjoyed the bus ride home from Augusta after thrashing the Razorbacks 49-0.
An inrerception with less than two minutes left in the game killed a final drive by First Presbyterian Christian Academy and swept awyay their first chance for a win. David Emmanuel outlasted the Highlanders 34-26 at Long Bell Stadium in Hinesville.
Tied at 18 the Long County Blue Tide football team forced the game into overtime. But Akinson made the final push for the 25-18 win.
Bradwell had a bye-week.
