Long County High School junior Nick Stock won the all-around title Saturday in his division in the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association Class AA State Weightlifting Championship in Portal.  
Stock competed in the 193-206-pound category. He lifted 300 pounds in the power clean, 400 pounds in the bench press and 500 pounds in the squat.  
In addition to Stock, there were 17 other lifters from LCHS who competed in the event.
 “We are proud of Nick’s accomplishments, and thanks go out to coach (Ron) Flott for taking the players to the meet,” LCHS Athletic Director Karen Swindell said.
