Hard times continued Friday for the Long County teams with both the Lady Tide and the Blue Tide falling in Atkinson County.
In the early action, the girls fell 60-40, and the boys lost 74-62. With the losses, the Lady Tide dropped to 4-12 overall and the Blue Tide to 4-10 overall; both also fell to 2-3 in the 2B-AA Region.
Last night, Long County was back on the road against Wayne County in Jesup. The Yellow Jackets went into the game with a 4-10 record and the Lady Jackets went into the contest with a 3-10 mark.
Tuesday, Long County is back at home taking on Bryan County in more region action.
The Redskins are currently 5-8 overall and 0-3 in the region while the Bryan County girls are 7-7 overall and 2-2 in the region.
The games are in Ludowici with the girls tipping off at 6 p.m. and the boys following at 7:30.
