Long County girls advance to state meet

Two Long County High School track and field athletes will be competing at state after each placed well at the Region 2-AA meet.
Tanisha Davis took second in the 400-meter race with a time of 1 minute, 3 seconds.
Kicha May finished second in the shot put and discus with throws of 32 feet in the shot put and 92 feet in the discus.
“All of our track athletes work hard, and we’re very proud of Tanisha and Kisha, for doing so well this year,” Long County High School athletic director Karen Swindell said.
The girls state track meet is May 12-13 in Albany.
