The Long County High School baseball team takes a two-game winning streak into this week’s action.
The Blue Tide beat Tattnall County, 7-1, Thursday in a non-region game in Ludowici.  On Friday the Blue Tide topped McIntosh County, 6-3, in Darien.  
With the two victories Long County improved their overall record to 9-8, while their Region 2-AA Region mark remained at 4-5.  
Tattnall County fell to 11-5 overall, while MCA fell to 2-9.
On Tuesday, Long County is back on the diamond for region action as it hosts Jeff Davis County (11-3) at 4:30 p.m.
