The Long County High School boys and girls basketball teams kicked off their region games Tuesday by taking on Benedictine Military School and St. Vincent’s Academy in Savannah.
Results were unavailable at press time. Coming into this week’s action, the Blue Tide boys had 1-2 record, while the Lady Tide had an 0-4 mark. The boys are averaging 52 points a game, while the girls are scoring 26 points a night.
Blue Tide players are Michael Abrams, Keon Burns, Quadre Holsendolph, Clay Strickland, Brendon Scott, Trae Davis, Zac Gay, Gage Kasperian, Quentin Quarterman, James Francis, Danaron Anderson, Jerimiah Adams and Vanda Vereen Jr.
Lady Tide players are Keke Calhoun, Tyronica Johnson, Katie Estill, Caitlyn Wingate, Keshaawndra Cooper, Samira Chapman, Trinity Hall, Sam Garcia, Kicha May, Elexxus Wrighton, Malaka Elix, Ravae Rose, Kaylyn McEwin, Dionna Allenvand and Kadeja Green.
