Former Liberty County High School basketball player Jordan McRae had a career-best 34 points as the senior guard propelled the University of Tennessee to an 81-74 win over Arkansas on Wednesday at Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville.
According to govolsxtra.com, the game went through 10 ties and 15 lead exchanges before the Vols outlasted Arkansas in the Southeastern Conference matchup. The report said McRae scored the last 13 points of the game, helping the Vols overcome and eight-point deficit.
UT is 12-6 and 3-2 in the SEC. McRae will be two hours away from home this weekend as the Volunteers visit Florida.
