Former Bradwell Institute football player David Miller was one of 27 Georgia State University football players who earned academic honors for the spring semester, according to GSU’s website.
Miller led the group by being named to the president’s list, along with GSU teammate Michael Davis.
The president’s list is Georgia State’s highest academic distinction, signifying a semester grade-point average of 4.0 or higher with at least nine credit hours, the website reported.
Miller has been recognized for his academic success before. In April, Miller was one of several athletes honored at the 58th annual Georgia State University Blue Carpet Awards Banquet by being named to the 2012-13 all-academic team.
In February, Miller was one of 16 Georgia State football players named to the Colonial Athletic Association’s academic all-conference team, according to the university’s website.
