Former Bradwell Institute football and soccer player David Miller was one of several athletes honored at the 58th annual Georgia State University Blue Carpet Awards Banquet on Thursday in Atlanta.
Miller is a kicker for the GSU football team.
According to a report on the school’s website, Miller was among the honorees who made 2012-13 all-academic teams, which honor academic achievements and commitment to community service.
In February, Miller was one of 16 GSU football players named to the Colonial Athletic Association’s academic all-conference team.
