Panthers close out season with 13-3 loss

Liberty County High School’s baseball season ended in Brooklet on Wednesday with a 13-3 loss to Southeast Bulloch.
The non-region matchup ended in six innings under the Georgia High School Association’s mercy rule. The Panthers finished 5-15 overall and 1-9 in Region 2A-AAAAA.
Anotonio Smith, Matt Desbiens and Trey Sikes pitched for the Panthers and each gave up three earned runs. Smith went 1 for 1 with an RBI, while Patrick McDonald was 1 for 2 with an RBI and Sam Wilson went 1 for 3 for the Panthers, who beat McIntosh County Academy, 10-0, on Saturday in Hinesville.
