Pool tourney set to benefit diabetes group
Event to take place at new Hinesville restaurant

The Big Cheesy, a new restaurant in Hinesville, will host a pool tournament benefitting the American Diabetes Association this weekend.
The ADA and the American Pool Players Association will conduct the inaugural tournament starting at 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday at 726 E. Oglethorpe Highway in Hinesville.
Registration begins at 10 a.m. and costs $25 per player.
There will be a progressive pot, raffles and prizes awarded, including a Keith Josey jump/break cue.
The tournament format will be a modified single elimination with APA rules.
The APA will donate $10 per person to the ADA for every new membership.
Individuals of all skill sets can register at www.diabetes.org/pooltournament.
All proceeds benefit the American Diabetes Association’s 2012 Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes Campaign.
