Kids Fishing Day set

Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge will host its first Kids Fishing Day from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. June 8.
Children, ages 5-12, can learn about water safety and sportsmanship while also fishing.
Registration is required and limited to 80. Participants will get free tackle to use and take home. Lunch will be provided. Fishing licenses will not be required.

9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
No registrations will be accepted after 4 p.m. June 7.

Softball in the ’Ville co-ed tourney set
The inaugural Softball in the ’Ville co-ed softball tournament will be Saturday and Sunday beginning at 9 a.m. at James Brown Park, 800 Tupelo Trail in Hinesville. The tournament is open to 16 teams. Each must have at least five females on the field at all times. Registration is $150 per team. Make checks payable to: Georgia Coastal Youth, P.O. Box 368, Riceboro, GA 31323.
