Tunnel to Towers run open registration

The race is set for Sept. 13, and the 5K run/walk begins at 8 a.m. The 3rd annual Tunnel to Towers Run Savannah honors the legacy of FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller along with his 342 FDNY first responders who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty on Sept. 11, 2001. Proceeds benefit the Tunnel to Towers Run Foundation’s various programs including Building for America’s Bravest, which constructs specially adapted smart homes for our nation’s most catastrophically injured service members. The run in Savannah will also feature The Siller Cup Firefighter Challenge. Teams of four firefighters or more from across the nation are expected to compete for a chance to take home a traveling trophy from last year’s winner, Bluffton Township Fire Department, and have the opportunity to defend their title in 2015.

The T2T Run Savannah is also looking for children to be involved in a memorial tribute on race day to honor each of the 343 fallen FDNY firefighters. To sign your child up for this special tribute, please contact the committee at Savannah@tunnel2towers.org.
