Youth baseball, softball and T-ball open
The Liberty County Recreation Department will accept registration for youth baseball, softball and T-ball programs through March 14.  
These programs are for boys and girls ages 4 and older.  Participants must attain the age of 4 prior to May 1, 2014.  
Teams will be formed at Joseph Miller Park, Briar Bay Park, Hillery Park and Gum Branch Park if there are a sufficient number of participants.
Volunteer coaches are needed for all teams. Training will be provided.
Register online at www.lcrd.net or at the LCRD office from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday. Cost is $20 per child. For additional information, call 876-5359.

Adult softball sign-up
set for this month
The Liberty County Recreation Department is accepting team entries for 2014 adult softball programs in March. Divisions for both men’s and women’s teams are open, church, co-ed (church and open), industrial and 40-and-older. For additional information, call 876-5359.  

Baseball, softball scorers and officials needed
The Liberty County Recreation Department is accepting applications for officials and scorekeepers for T-ball, softball and baseball programs. All programs start in April and continue into June.
Applications may be obtained at the LCRD office from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Tennis tournament
set for March 15
A tennis tournament will start at 8 a.m. Saturday, March 15, in James Brown Park tennis courts.
Everybody is welcome; cost is free.
Deadline to enter is the tournament’s starting time. Call 912-318-6719.
