Scott’s All-Stars will host tryouts

Junior ABA Training at Y
Training to develop future American Basketball Association players will be Sundays from 1-3 p.m. at the YMCA. Training is open to boys and girls ages 6-14. There is a one-time $20 registration fee and a weekly fee of $10. For more information, call 912-610-3092.

South Georgia Kings prep for AAU season
The South Georgia Kings will start accepting registration in January for their upcoming spring AAU basketball season. Registration will be open to players in fifth through 11th grades. For more information, email southgeorgiakings@yahoo.com.

Clash of Champions basketball tournament
The Clash of Champions basketball tournament  Jan. 19-20 in the St. James Sports Center. The tournament is open for recreational teams for ages 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and 15-17. The tournament is limited to four teams per age group and open to boys and girls. Teams must be signed up by Jan. 9. Registration is free. Trophies will be awarded to first- and second-place teams. All teams must have a coach.
The tournament is sponsored by the 17U Elite Rebels. Admission to the games is $5 for adults, $3 for students.

Seeking former
BI/Liberty players
Gridiron Alumni is planning several full-contact alumni football games between old football rivals. Players are needed; the first 40 players on each team get to play, and the team that gets 30 people registered first gets home-field advantage. Teams from Bradwell Institute and Liberty County, as well as other area teams, are forming now.
