Tryout for GSU
Walk-on tryouts for the Georgia Southern football team will be at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at the practice fields across from the new CVS.
Full-time Georgia Southern students interested in trying out must sign up at the Parrish Football Building behind the outfield wall of J.I. Clements Stadium. Interested students need to bring with them proof of medical insurance, their class schedules and current physicals (within the last six months) signed by physicians.

All-Stars tryouts for grades 5-8

Doubles tournament set
Marne Lanes will host a Valentine’s Day nine-pin no-tap scotch doubles tournament from 1-3 p.m. Feb. 9. Early team registrations are $25 until Feb. 2. Walk-in registrations are $30 the day of the event. Registration is cash only. Sign-up begins one hour before each shift.
Participants must be 18 and older. There will be at least one prize for every 10 entries.

Junior ABA Training at Y
Training to develop future American Basketball Association players is from 1-3 p.m. Sundays at the YMCA. It is open to boys and girls ages 6-14. There is a one-time $20 registration fee and a weekly fee of $10. For more information, call 912-610-3092.
