Liberty County’s new girls’ basketball team, the Low Country Storm, recently went 2-2 in its first tournament.
The Storm competed at the United States Basketball Association Island Shootout on April 26-28 on John’s Island in Charleston.
Coaches Darrell West and Brad Covington said their girls did well, losing by four points in the final game against five-year returning champion Orangeburg Express.
Storm members are Ravae Rose, Elexxus Wrighten, Richarra Tillman, Kiara Edwards, Brianna Lord, To’Mya Anderson, Malaka Elix and Anazha Kincaid.
