The Long County High School track-and-field team recently competed in its first meet of the year at Tattnall County, bringing home seven firsts.
Both boys coach Deshone Brock and girls coach Erica Harris said they were pleased with their teams’ performances.
“The girls have worked extremely hard to prepare for this meet,” Harris said. “I see exciting things happening … especially with the group of freshmen athletes, who (I believe) have the potential of going to state this season.”
