Tough night for Liberty County soccer teams

The Liberty soccer teams fell to Glynn Academy at home Tuesday night.
Both the boys’ and girls’ teams were shut out, with the Panthers falling, 10-0, and the Lady Panthers losing, 7-0.
Both Panthers squads are 2-10 overall and 1-8 in Region 2A-AAAA.
The boys will play Richmond Hill at 5 p.m. today. The girls’ game reportedly was forfeited by Liberty County.
Both Richmond Hill teams are area soccer powers. The Wildcats are coming off a 4-3 loss to Glynn Academy last week. They are 8-4 overall and 5-3 in Region 2A-AAAA.
The Richmond Hill girls are 10-1 overall and 7-1 in the subregion. The Lady Wildcats upended then-No. 6-ranked Glynn Academy, 2-0, on March 25.
