Vidalia takes two from Long Co.

Friday was a tough night for both Long County High School basketball teams.
The girls and boys both fell to Vidalia High School in Toombs County.
In the early action, the girls were defeated by the Lady Indians 47-14, and even though the boys did fare a little better, they still fell to the Indians 66-42.
With the region losses the Lady Tide fell to 2-10 overall and 2-5 in 2B-AA.
The Blue Tide fell to 9-9 overall and 3-4 in 2B-AA.
The Long County teams are back on the court Tuesday when the boys play at Benedictine Military School and the girls travel to St. Vincent’s Academy.
Both games begin at 6 p.m.
