The National Golf Association’s Professional Golf Tour, formally known as the Hooters Pro Golf Tour, will have the NeSmith Chevrolet Classic on April 7-13 at the Sapelo Hammock Golf Course.  
This is a great time to see some of the best players in the world compete. This event, which is in its second year, will have an expected field of 156 players. There is no charge to watch. Many of the best players on the PGA tour began their professional careers on the NGA tour.  
Practice  and  two pro-am rounds will take place April 7-9, and the 72-hole tournament will be April 10-13.  
There will be a junior clinic sponsored by the Sapelo Hammock Golf Academy at 4:30 p.m. April 8.
The tour pros will demonstrate shots and give tips on putting, chipping, short shots and long shots.
You don’t need to sign up, just show up. There is no charge, and if you don’t have clubs, we will provide some. All juniors 18 and younger who attend the clinic will receive a complementary round of golf at Sapelo Hammock.
