The Long County High School Competition Cheerleading team placed third in the Georgia AAA Region Competition held recently in Dublin.

By qualifying in the top three, the girls then advanced to the state sectionals and the GHSA state finals.

First year head coach Sydney Gosseck said that she was proud of the hard work the girls put in all season.

"I’m extremely proud of how hard this team has worked, we came together, we made progress, which brought us successes," Gosseck said.
